If you’re getting married at Llantilio House in Abergavenny then I’d like to offer a huge congratulations! It comes highly recommended by couples and photographers alike!
Llantilio is one of my all-time favourite wedding venues and if wedding photographers gave venues reviews I would 100% give Llantilio House a 5-star review!
I love everything about it, with its blend of rustic charm and luxury design features. You can definitely imagine finding it between the glossy pages of an architecture magazine!
What I love about Llantilio House so much as a wedding photographer…
Llantilio perfectly suits my approach to wedding photography… The natural light in the main barn is simply gorgeous with those huge floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides.
The mezzanine level is a dream for me as wedding photographer as it allows me to quickly achieve an elevated perspective of your ceremony, and later your wedding breakfast table setups, and speeches.
But I think it’s Llantilio’s gardens that stand out most for me and I take my hat off to gardener Jack for his considered approach. Whether spring, summer or autumn, there’s always so much colour and life… abundance.
In fact it goes without saying that the team are all fantastic and it’s always a pleasure to spend the day working alongside co-ordinators Lauren and Ffion.
Loads of locations for wedding photography onsite…
Llantilio House is a fantastic wedding venue for my approach to candid photography – there are loads of spaces that invite your guests to have fun and interact, drink cocktails, dance and/or indulge in a spot of limbo. And then there are also plenty of locations onsite for playful, beautiful couple shots, without having to go offsite.
In fact, typically all I ask for is 15 minutes with you to go for a gentle stroll around the property – poolside, in front of the original farm house, the gardens – before heading back inside for your wedding breakfast. And maybe 5 minutes to a couple of quick sunset portraits.
You can also easily get family group shots on the main lawn without dragging your guests away from the party (or their drinks).
Needless to say, if you’re getting married at Llantilio House and looking for the best wedding photography to capture your day, I would absolutely love to chat with you and hear all your plans.
