Hey, I’m Ben – father of two and documentary family photographer based in Swansea.
I offer relaxed and fun family photoshoots making the most of the many beautiful beaches of Swansea’s Gower Peninsula (also shooting throughout South Wales).
Whether you’re looking for a relaxed, un-posey outdoor family photoshoot at your favourite Gower beach or an informal session at your home, I’m here for you.
I like to keep things really natural, laid-back and FUN, with family photo sessions at your favourite place.
Whether we meet at your favourite Gower beach, park, or even at your home, we’ll create wall-worthy photos without the forced awkwardness of a studio setting.
I’m also available for family events such as Christenings, birthdays, gender reveal parties and more.

What You’ll Get from Your Family Photoshoot
A full hour or two of fun and relaxed
shooting time
I’ll make sure we have enough time to slowly relax into the session and enjoy getting the photos without feeling rushed.
We’ll keep it fun and chilled. The most important thing to me is that you enjoy the shoot and feel comfortable from start to finish.
A family adventure
For me it’s important that the shoot itself is a lot of fun for everyone involved.
Whether we’re on the beach, at your home or exploring a castle, we’ll be sure to have a good time on our photo adventure.
Minimum of 50 wall-worthy photos
I promise to deliver a minimum of 50 beautiful photos – all professionally edited by yours truly.
FYI, my cameras are full frame and professional-grade, creating images at such high resolution that you could quite easily print your family photos at billboard size.
I will send you a link to an online gallery where you can view and download your photos.
You will also be able to order prints via this gallery for an additional fee.
Price
My family photography sessions are £400.
This includes up to 2 hours of shooting and a minimum of 50 hand-edited photos (though my goal is to deliver all of the good ones, so this can be as many as 200+ photos).

Anywhere you like!
I would suggest your favourite beach or any place that is meaningful to you as a family – we've got plenty to choose from in Swansea/Gower. Rhossili, Llangennith, Three Cliffs, Caswell, etc.
I also love shooting in green spaces, so have a think about your favourite woodlands or parks. Clyne Gardens is always gorgeous, as is Penllergaer Woods. Oh, and Cwm Ivy / Llanmadoc is very special!
These larger beaches also have plenty of space, so we can seek out a quiet spot to shoot more privately.
That said I’m also happy to come to your home, or wherever you might be throwing a party.

As a parent myself I fully understand how challenging and time consuming it can be to get ready and get out the door.
I promise to be flexible and work with you on this to make things as easy as possible.

Just bring yourselves! Maybe a blanket and/or whatever you would normally take – games, toys, balls etc.

Not to worry at all – almost everybody is to some degree.
All you really need to do is have fun and enjoy the view. I'll take care of the rest.

Within a week or two of your family shoot, I will send you a link to an online gallery where you can view and download your photos.
From this gallery you will also have the option to make prints (at extra cost). But the photos are yours so you are free to get them printed wherever and however you like.
